Flap is an iPhone and Apple Watch app that suggests one workout a day. These terms cover using it. They are short because the app does very little that needs covering: there is no account, no subscription, and nothing of yours leaves your device.
Exercise carries risk, and Flap is not a doctor. The workouts are general suggestions, not medical or professional fitness advice, and they are not tailored to your health, injuries or condition. Talk to a doctor before starting a new form of exercise, especially if you are pregnant, recovering from an injury or illness, or have a heart or joint condition. Stop if something hurts. You take part at your own risk.
Your licence to use the app
Downloading Flap from the App Store gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use it on devices you own or control, under Apple’s Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement, which applies to this app. These terms sit alongside it. Where the two disagree, Apple’s agreement wins.
What you may not do
- Copy, sell, rent or redistribute the app.
- Reverse engineer it, except where the law says you may regardless.
- Use it in a way that breaks the law where you are.
Tips
The app is free and complete. The tip jar in Preferences is optional, unlocks nothing, and is there only if you want to leave something. Tips are processed by Apple under Apple’s terms; the developer never sees your payment details. Refund requests go to Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com.
Your data
Nothing you do in the app is collected or transmitted to the developer. What the app stores, where it stores it, and how to delete it are set out in the privacy policy.
No warranty
Flap is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. The developer does not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and is not liable for any injury, loss of data, or other loss arising from using it — again, to the fullest extent the law allows. Nothing here limits any right you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by agreement.
Changes
These terms may change as the app does. The date at the top changes with them, and continuing to use the app means the current version applies.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [COUNTRY], without affecting any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
